It's Back to World War II all over again

When Marty and Doc Brown plunged back in time in their silver DeLorean, they apparently overshot 1955 and wound up in 1941 instead.

We wake up this morning not just to the good old days of the Cold War, but to those days when people were fleeing places like Paris ahead of the arrival of the Nazi tanks.

And it’s not completely clear how we got here.

Liberal media is blaming Trump as it usually does for every major disaster dating back to when Adam and Eve got tossed out of Eden.

Media’s role is to blame Trump for everything hoping enough of it will stick so he can’t run for reelection in 2024.

Despite the phony Russia gate some liberals still cling to even after it has been proven it was a dirty trick orchestrated by the campaign for Hillary Clinton, liberals can’t quite pin the invasion of Ukraine on Trump – which pisses them off royally – since Putin waited a whole year to make his move.

Even the ever-pro Democratic New York Times and Washington Post are struggling to pump up Biden as a war hero or to figure out what Putin’s end game really is.

And as dreadful as this is, it is sort of a nostalgic moment for back when the world made sense and we had real enemies.

The question remains what is our very weak president going to do about it?

United States and Canada are very good at cracking down on people trying to exercise their free speech as the recent trucker thing in Canada before that the January 6th protest, but we are incredibly short-sighted when it comes to what other nations do. We tend to give away the store to them in the hope that will appease them much as Chamberlain did Hitler.

We did send the vice president to Ukraine to smooth things over which came back with a lot of very confused rhetoric and not a much of a solution – but fortunately did not make matters worse.

The big question is whether Biden will do anything at all, besides impose sanctions that can be gotten around by Russia doing business with China. Sanctions are a weak response to tanks and missiles.

Yet we risk plunging into a global war more like World War 1 and World War II because of the strange clumping of alliances

China meanwhile is waiting it out because it has poised itself to take back Taiwan. If the West does nothing against Russia for taking Ukraine, we will soon see the Chinese Communists taking over Island

Already there have been leaks from Chinese media saying not to be too critical of Russia.

Chinese have also made it very clear that Taiwan is different from you create because Taiwan quote on quote has always been part of China.

In other ways, this is very similar to World War 2 in that we are watching the slow progression of the Russian Empire, one country at a time and we are seeing a global war shaping on two fronts as we did back then.

We are again seeing threats in the Orient and in Europe as two powerful forces rise up to take over the world with the assumption that because the United States has a very weak President, we are helpless to do anything about it.

Biden is hardly FDR or JFK, and Putin knows this

How much impact the whole thing will have on world economy is another question because the shutting down of the gas line from Russia to Germany not only hurt Russia but hurts the West which desperately needs that energy because Biden foolishly closed down oil lines in the United States.

While we might not yet see nuclear mushroom clouds rising over the east, don’t count that out as NATO has already rattled its nuclear sword at Russia as it to keep the Russians from rolling into Paris as the Nazis once did.
