Ukraine will lose if the west doesn’t intervene

  It is difficult to tell which side is winning the war with the massive misinformation campaign being waged in the west. Ukraine makes up stuff as it goes along posting often complete distortions so one comes to believe they are fighting a field of dreams conflict, relying on the hope if they say it often enough it will come true. They need to convince the US, EU and others they can hold off the Russians while at the same time pray the west will intervene on their behalf. This duality suggests they know they are losing and are in desperate need of Devine intervention. The fact that people are fleeing Ukraine by the millions adds evidence to this. Yes, they have slowed the Russian advance but at a great cost. Winning a war is about attrition. The side with the most resources generally wins. Putin as master manipulator

  Trump was right; Putin is a genius An evil genius, no doubt, and almost certainly a war criminal. But he is hardly the madman media is making him out to be – even though he is waging what Civil War Union General Sherman might have called “total war” against innocent civilians. Sherman’s theory which he carried out to bring down the South and later to defeat some of the most powerful native American tribes (through his acolyte, Sheridan) was to undermine the ability of the enemy to fight by destroying the base – food supply and those folks back home – that support them. Sheridan’s belief was that if you make it hell for all the people involved, the sooner they will capitulate. Simplistic fools, however, need to paint this conflict as simply one of good and evil, and so award the president of Ukraine sainthood, and by default, Putin is seen as in league with the devil.     Media is bending over backwards to build a David and Goliath story when it comes to Ukraine, desperate to create the illusion of noble patriots fighting against Darth Vader Putin and the evil empire. They paint the president of Ukraine into a charismatic character who like Luke Skywalker will stand up against Russian invasion with or without help from the west. Media is telling us lies about how armed citizens are holding back the hordes, mostly artists and others who have been given guns, and that this is the reason why the Russians are taking so long to overrun the country. Media tells us the lie about Putin being enraged by the length of time it is taking, when nothing could be further from the truth. More than one political observer has blamed media for the war, hyping it up with false information as well as phony hyperbole. It's Back to World War II all over again

   When Marty and Doc Brown plunged back in time in their silver DeLorean, they apparently overshot 1955 and wound up in 1941 instead. We wake up this morning not just to the good old days of the Cold War, but to those days when people were fleeing places like Paris ahead of the arrival of the Nazi tanks. And it’s not completely clear how we got here. Liberal media is blaming Trump as it usually does for every major disaster dating back to when Adam and Eve got tossed out of Eden. Media’s role is to blame Trump for everything hoping enough of it will stick so he can’t run for reelection in 2024. Solidarity Day September 20, 1981

  I have never been a whole hearted supported of the political left, even though most of my friends were in the 1960s. So why I went to Washington DC today, still escapes me. Maybe it is because I missed the social interaction I got from those old marches when we had a war to oppose – this time, lines of students mingling with lines of workers after the long bus ride form our college campus in   New Jersey,   buses waiting for our on the parking lot we called the air strip disorganized organization with union hard hats from communist led labor unions and ERA flags of our fellow students behind them, row after row of people, most of whom had a completely different reason for being there, most of us there because somebody somewhere most likely a professor told us that the Administration stood against everything we believed in, and we had to fight back.     Radical left wing historian Will Durant once pointed out that democratic elections simply provide cover for a power struggled between the politically elite, giving legitimacy to a process that has nothing to do with Democracy. In other words, there is no such thing as an honest election. The wider the margin of victory the more legitimate the election appears. Elections, no matter how dishonest, tend to be better than the alternative means of securing power, violent revolution or insurrection. Elections lulled the general public into believing everyday people choose their leaders, when in fact, the change of power is predetermined and the real decisions are made by a power elite, who often trade off leadership between the prevailing political parties, each hiding their lust for power behind ideologies nobody but the most gullible actually believe.
